I am a 4th generation Portlander. I managed Initially Yours embroidery and personalized gifts for over 20+ years. I was doing all kinds of custom embroidery to learn the facets of business, textiles and fabrics. I transitioned to interior design in Lake Oswego offering design concepts. I was happy doing beautiful designs, but the end user was being overcharged by the company I worked for. I wanted to offer design and pricing the way I felt it should be, reasonable. I decided to pivot my business to window coverings, shades and blinds. When builders and customers found out my manufacturer direct pricing, business exploded. I love what I do and it makes me happy to pass on savings to a homeowner.
